Eq2 new lands new profits5/21/2023 ![]() A swash/brig is going to eat any caster alive with constant interrupts from daring advance, Taunts to force back from pet taunts. given a scout always has the advantage when it comes to engagement. Scouts are squishy as hell and if they get CCed they are dead without in combat evac as an option. I look forward to seeing scouts taunted by pets then feared/rooted then stunned then re snared then taunted again and dieing. It is obvious in his replies he never played EQ2 for more than a month if that. Those no point in talking to schnarf about this. ![]() But if they allow mercs, its going to be a disaster. I'll give the server a try in beta and see how it works out. Taunt works in PvP as well, so tank classes can save their healers/casters and teamwork is very important. There was the occasional level locked ganker running around with max AA's and OOR buffs that could get you in a single macro of skills, but in BG's most classes I tried did well enough outside of Defiler. People talk about scouts being OP, but I didn't see much of that when I played. Similar to EQ1 bards, great ones can be gods, shit ones are free kill. You can use heroic opportunities in PvP from what I remember, although its been over a year since I played.ĭirge's and Troubadours are both good classes for open world PvP, but have a higher skill cap. I still have more classes to try though before I decide on a main. So far the most enjoyable class thus far has been monk. I am still confused about when to use heroic opportunities (I am assuming only in pve.) Illusionist was kind of fun but I didn't like how my pet was just a copy of myself. And even if they could WTF would they want to do that? You mean they would want to code and manage a server while other people make money off it lol your crazy. RMT breaks that agreement, so it cannot be condoned by the Staff no matter if it's a good thing or not. It is in the legal agreement that you cannot profit off this Emulation. Which does not expire unlike the code rights. Sony owned the rights to the fictional licensing of the Everquest lore. HERES A HINT GMs: The suppliers just MIGGGHHHTTTT be some of the individuals who've been monopolizing all Kunark content for 5 years now and selling the stuff for loot rights. Isn't it strange that the GMs can track down joeshmoe who bought 5kpp to get started on the server but they "can't" seem to track down the individuals who are supplying LITERALLY MILLIONS OF PP to the big sellers? The top end guilds might not be able to monopolize all content, then who would they get to feel "superior" over?įunnily enough RMT IS rampant on P99 yet the GMs only punish the buyers not the suppliers. Guess what, it didn't ruin any of the games that have it (all Daybreak games, EVE, WoW, etc).īut see if RMT was allowed on P99 then those individuals with less playtime (assumably due to having actual RL obligations) would be able to compete at the top end. Almost every single game has a legit way to convert real life currency into game currency via 30 day game time consumable items, etc. ![]() ![]() Nobody gives a shit about RMT anymore except emu servers. ![]()
